Prospero’s Black Box è uno spettacolo di clownery interpretato da un solo attore, che esplora il rapporto apparentemente assurdo tra il Prospero shakespeariano e Geoffrey Hinton, il “padrino dell’IA”. In questo viaggio di un’ora, il clown si imbatterà nella “Scatola Nera” (un algoritmo talmente complesso che nemmeno i suoi inventori ne comprendono il funzionamento) con risultati esilaranti e provocatori e difenderà la sua essenza umana in un mondo fatto di realtà virtuale e intelligenza artificiale. Prospero’s Black Box ha debuttato nell’estate del 2023 al Hydrama Arts Center di Hydra (Grecia).
Prospero’s Black Box is a one-person clown show that explores the seemingly absurd connection between Shakespeare’s Prospero and Geoffrey Hinton, considered as the “Godfather of AI”. In this one- hour- journey, the clown encounters the “Black Box” (an algorithm that is so complicated even its creators don’t understand how it works) with hilarious and provocative results, and battles for his own humanness in a world of Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Prospero’s Black Box premiered in summer 2023 at the Hydrama Arts Center in Hydra, Greece.
